Education-based vs. environment-focused non-profits.

The challenge


Carousel30 has been challenged to utilize Google’s AdWords Grant for several non profit clients to help maximize low budgets while providing high-return results. A particular education-based non profit organization reached out to Carousel30 and was looking to solve the problem of low brand awareness. In another instance, an environment-based non profit contacted the agency and was looking to improve their audience reach to further promote campaign efforts.

The process


In attempts to bring brand awareness to the education-based non profit, several campaigns were implemented that targeted the organization’s primary and secondary audiences which were complemented by audience-specific landing pages. In the instance of the environment-based non profit organization, an AdWords campaign was already implemented which was performing rather well, but needed optimization to lower Bounce Rates. Therefore, a different approach was taken to identify new opportunities and audiences that the organization could penetrate. Not only did Carousel30 work to optimize their existing campaigns, but several other campaigns were created to strengthen the organization’s marketing efforts.

The solution


In the case of the education-based organization, the metrics showed that not only did overall audience awareness improve, but so did their website behavior engagement rates. Along with achieving the organization’s goals, the AdWords campaign and associated insights helped refine target audiences and website user experience to allow for continual growth towards the organization’s objectives. In the case of the environment-focused organization, acquisition to the website improved significantly and so did their website behavior engagement rates. AdWords has helped this organization identify what drives acquisition and engagement, and has paved the way to optimizing their website in such a way that helps each of their audiences find what they are looking for in an easy and accessible way.
