Account Manager

We are looking for a candidate who can assist our clients with their marketing campaigns and other efforts and help lead them strategically. The Account Manager will be someone who has relevant experience in digital marketing and who always stays abreast of industry developments. This role will be responsible for implementing and overseeing day-to-day activities for agency accounts to ensure we are delivering deliverables that are strategic and meet client expectations. He or she will be responsible for translating client key objectives into timelines, tasks and keeping a constant pulse on projects. In addition, Account Manager will manage the agency relationship with key clients and keep an eye on new business opportunities with existing clients to expand and enhance our relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact and maintain client relationships

  • Stay current on industry best practices, and serve as the expert in the client's industry and marketing landscape

  • Prepare and present marketing plans and creative briefs

  • Lead client meetings and calls, ensure follow up and meeting notes are provided

  • Communicate with Managing Director on regular basis on account health, including profitability and client satisfaction

  • Responsible for account growth and profitability, managing time and budget for accounts and communicating with internal teams regularly on status

  • Ensure all deliverables are on-strategy, on-brand and meet client objectives before they are delivered to clients

  • Assists with day-to-day account problem solving

  • Reviews initial and revised job-level budgets and reviews appropriate job-level tracking reports

  • Collaborates with Managing Director to prepare annual client fee budget and to ensure budgets and forecasts are updated as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of account experience, with the ability to form trusting and lasting relationships with clients and internal teams

  • Excellent communication skills, polished presentations skills and the ability to write long and short formats

  • Digital/interactive campaign experience required

  • Team player but can also work independently when needed

  • Ability to offer new and creative ideas to solve clients’ problems

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
