Marketing Manager


Job Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is an enthusiastic and internally motivated candidate who can assist our clients with marketing campaigns and other efforts and help lead the company strategically. The Marketing Manager will be someone who has relevant experience in digital marketing and who always stays ahead of industry trends. This role will be responsible for implementing and overseeing day-to-day activities for agency accounts to ensure we are serving up high quality client deliverables that are strategic and exceed client expectations. This role will be responsible for translating client key objectives into timelines, tasks and keeping a constant pulse on projects. In addition, the Marketing Manager will oversee and maintain the agency relationship with key clients and keep an eye on new business opportunities with existing clients to expand and enhance our relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain client relationships for digital marketing projects

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies for multi-tactic, multi-phase campaigns, specifically:

    • Marketing (social media, search engine and email)

    • Advertising (print, display, search and social)

    • Analytics (tracking, analyzing and reporting)

    • Website Management and Marketing (content management and analytics)

  • Provide recommendations on and evaluations of company SEO practices

  • Manage social media marketing efforts, making strategic recommendations in order to drive engagement, fan growth and conversions

  • Manage content marketing strategies that leverage the growing connection between social and search

  • Manage the planning and execution of comprehensive email marketing campaigns, managing the email campaign process from conceptualization to execution

  • Work with our creative and technology teams to execute those aspects of a campaign

  • Optimize marketing tactics by leading the analysis of clients’ data, prior results, market changes, and consumer insights

  • Stay current on industry news and trends, and make timely, informed recommendations to staff and clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or the equivalent

  • 4-6+ years of experience in digital marketing

  • Effective written and oral communications skills

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Team player who works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and hands-on experience working on communication campaigns and overseeing the execution of marketing programs

  • Experience with as many of the following as possible:

    • Paid Search,

    • Email Marketing,

    • Digital Advertising,

    • Social Media,

    • Search Engine Optimization,

    • Analytics insights

    • Dashboard creation and other forms of digital marketing

    • CMS Management

  • Experience at a digital agency and a Master’s degree is a plus
