Account Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an Account Manager who can assist our clients with their marketing campaigns and other efforts and help lead them strategically. The candidate will be someone who has relevant experience in digital marketing who always stays abreast of industry developments. This role will be responsible for implementing and overseeing day-to-day activities for agency accounts to ensure we are creating deliverables that are strategic and meet client expectations. They will be responsible for translating client key objectives into timelines and tasks while keeping a constant pulse on projects. In addition, the Account Manager will manage the agency relationship with key clients and keep an eye on new business opportunities with existing clients to expand and enhance our relationship. This position will report to the VP of Client Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact and maintain client relationships

  • Stay current on industry best practices, and serve as the expert in the client's industry and marketing landscape

  • Prepare and present marketing plans and creative briefs

  • Lead client meetings and calls, ensure follow up and meeting notes are provided

  • Communicate with Managing Director on regular basis on account health, including profitability and client satisfaction

  • Responsible for account growth and profitability, managing time and budget for accounts. This includes communicating with internal teams regularly on status

  • Ensure all deliverables are on-strategy, on-brand and meet client objectives before they are delivered to clients

  • Assist with day-to-day account problem solving

  • Review initial and revised job-level budgets and review appropriate job-level tracking reports

  • Collaborate with Managing Director to prepare annual client fee budget and to ensure budgets and forecasts are updated as needed


  • 3-5 years of account experience, with the ability to form trusting and lasting relationships with clients and internal teams

  • Excellent communication skills, polished presentations skills and the ability to write long and short formats

  • Digital/interactive campaign experience required

  • Team player but can also work independently when needed

  • Ability to offer new and creative ideas to solve clients’ problems

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
